Howdy,
I'm Dan from England. I'm about to travel the world, or by the time you might be reading this, I am already globetrotting! Yep, I'm joining Francis Drake, Captain Cook, Michael Palin and more recently, Karl Pilkington. I wish I had Drake and Cook's navigating skills and Palin's humour, but unfortunately I'm left with the affiliation of Pilkington's moaning what will soon be matching, hairline.
No seriously, I am backpacking around China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia and possibly (if the money holds out) Australia!
Why am I doing it, you might ask. Well, I've decided that I needed to change my life. I was stuck in a routine, going into an office job every day, trying to write after work and fitting in a social life whenever I could.
Well all that's changed now!
I'm travelling to learn new cultures, see new things and gain more experience to write about. Writing is my passion and despite the odd typo here and there, I think I'm getting closer to my dream.
